Principal's Message

Hello and Welcome to Highland West Junior High!

At our school, we believe every student has the potential to L.E.A.D.—to Live the habits, Encourage others, Aim for success, and Do the right thing. These values guide everything we do and shape the way our students learn, grow, and treat one another each day.

The junior high years are an exciting time filled with new challenges, friendships, and opportunities. Our goal is to create a safe, positive, and supportive environment where students feel confident to try new things, learn from mistakes, and celebrate their achievements. With the support of our caring teachers and staff, students are encouraged to build strong habits, take responsibility for their learning, and develop respect for themselves and others.

We are proud of our strong sense of community and the partnerships we share with parents and families. When we work together, we help our students become confident learners and responsible leaders—both in school and beyond.
